Lion of Judah : King of Kings

In Lion of Judah, the artist moves beyond mere representation to present Christ as the Divine Architect, utilizing a geometric language that suggests a being constructed of pure, mathematical order. By breaking the form of the lion into precise facets and intersecting planes, the work mirrors the structural integrity of a grand design. Every line serves as a blueprint, and every angle acts as a structural support, transforming the organic figure into a living monument. This aesthetic choice emphasizes that the Messiah is not just a historical figure, but the very framework upon which reality is built—a foundational presence that is as indestructible as the geometry that defines Him.

The use of sharp, crystalline shapes in the mane and face creates a sense of "sacred architecture," where the light hits each surface to reveal a different dimension of His character. This differs significantly from the artist's other works, which often rely on softer, more ethereal transitions. Here, the ruggedness of the "weathered work-boot" or the fluid atmosphere of the "Hollow" is replaced by a rigid, intentional perfection. The gold crown, sitting atop this multifaceted head, acts as the capstone of the entire composition, signifying that the Architect of the universe is also its Sovereign. By expressing Christ's being through these deliberate geometric rhythms, the artist invites the viewer to see the Lion of Judah as the source of all structure, grace, and eternal stability.
